The Rockford Lions Club, in partnership with the Center for Sight & Hearing, will host our 2nd Annual Hike for Hearing 5k Run/Walk on Saturday May 1st, 2027 at scenic Rock Cut State Park in Loves Park, Illinois
The Event
This timed 5k run/walk is a family-friendly, accessible event, promoting awareness of hearing loss.
Registration is $35 for people over 18, and participants age 6+ who register in advance receive an event t-shirt.
Various corporate sponsorship tiers are also available
“We have a passion for hearing care,” says Dr. Anneliese Hartman, AuD, the Center’s Hearing Clinic Director, “so we thought a day of wellness and focusing on the sounds of nature during a fun run, would bring awareness to the importance of our hearing and testing for loss.”
Event proceeds benefit the Center for Sight & Hearing, a 501c3 organization.
