Audiologist

For over 60 years, the Center for Sight & Hearing has been dedicated to helping people with vision and hearing loss in Northern Illinois.

We are inviting a full-time Audiologist to join our team of specialized experts. If you are a creative self-starter who thrives on autonomy and attention to detail, and have the drive to grow within our organization whose mission is to make a difference in patients’ lives – we are looking for you!

The ideal candidate will be an engaged collaborator, who serves our pediatric and adult patients and has an interest in expanding programs such as Cochlear Implants.

Salary and Benefits include:

  • $85,000 ++ (Based on experience)
  • Monday through Friday, 8am to 430pm

Qualifications include: 

  • Doctor of Audiology degree from an accredited institution and current licensure
  • Technical competence in the areas of diagnostics, evaluations, state of the art amplification systems/instruments, and assistive listening devices
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Optometrist

For over 60 years, the Center for Sight & Hearing has been dedicated to helping people with vision and hearing loss in Northern Illinois.

We are inviting a full-time or part-time Optometrist to join our team of specialized experts. If you are a creative self-starter who thrives on autonomy and attention to detail, and have the drive to grow within our organization whose mission is to make a difference in patients’ lives – we are looking for you!

The Optometrist provides clinical services to Vision Clinic patients, including vision examinations and eye health screenings, prescription of lenses and frames, and referrals to internal and external resources. The Optometrist establishes and maintains referral relationships with regional ophthalmologists, optometrists, physicians, other medical personnel, as well as government agencies and professional organizations.

Vision Rehabilitation Specialist

We are inviting a full-time Vision Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team of specialized experts. If you are a creative self-starter who thrives on autonomy and attention to detail, and have the drive to grow within our organization whose mission is to make a difference in patients’ lives – we are looking for you!

The Vision Rehabilitation Specialist provides consistent, effective, and high-quality rehabilitation services to individuals with vision loss. She/he informs and educates the public and professional community regarding vision loss issues, and works closely with vendors, and the professional community.

  • Monday through Friday, 8am to 430pm

Qualifications include: 

  • Master’s Degree in rehabilitation, orientation & mobility, occupational therapy, or related field.  Experience working with older adults and individuals with vision loss.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
